Art on the Waterfront

A selected group of artists exhibited their work at the Masonic Hall on Wednesday 1st July until Friday 3rd July. It commenced with an opening ceremony on Tuesday evening during which Jason Sullivan made the opening speech in the presence of the Mayor of Lymington and Lucie Lewis, Chair of the New Forest Fund Raising Committee for Naomi House Childrens Hospice.

Helen Talbot, vice chair of the NF Fund Raising Committee and one of the organisers of the event, told me " I am thrilled to announce that we made £1000 for Naomi House during the 3 days".

A very successful talk on Art in the New Forest was given by Georgina Babey and Peter Roberts during a special lunch on Thursday held 'cafe gallery style' midst exhibiting artists and visitors.
